ON THE FLY Inc.

“on the fly”には、文字通りの「飛行中」という意味のほかに、「即興で」「動的に」「その場で」「即座に」といった意味があります。

ユーザーインターフェイス、プロダクトデザイン、インタラクションデザイン、インタラクティブアートなど、領域にとらわれず、ヒトとモノを”on the fly”につなぐという思いを込めています。

緒方 壽人

代表取締役／デザインエンジニア

2000年東京大学工学部卒業。
2002年岐阜県立国際情報科学芸術アカデミー（IAMAS）卒業後、
2003年よりデザインエンジニアとしてリーディング・エッジ・デザインに参加。
2010年株式会社オンザフライ（ON THE FLY Inc.）設立。

授賞
『ことばの砂時計』2003年文化庁メディア芸術祭　審査委員推薦作品。
『NTT DoCoMo OnQ』2004年グッドデザイン賞、2005年iFデザイン賞受賞。（LEADING EDGE DESIGNとして）
『another shadow』2009年シーグラフアジア エマージングテクノロジー選出。（五十嵐健夫氏との共同製作）

Hisato Ogata

Design Engineer, Founder

Graduated from Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo, in 2000.
After leaving the International Academy of Media Arts and Sciences (IAMAS),
joined LEADING EDGE DESIGN as a design engineer in 2003.
Founded ON THE FLY Inc. in 2010.

Jury Recommended Work at the Media Arts Festival, Agency for Cultural Affairs for “kotosuna” in 2003
Good Design Award (2004) and an iF Product Design Award (2005) for “NTT DoCoMo OnQ” (at LEDING EDGE DESIGN)
Emerging Technologies at SIGGRAPH ASIA 2009 for “another shadow” in 2009 (collaborated with Takeo Igarashi)
